HR Advisor for Wholesale (Global Markets/Investment Banking) Associate / Vice President
役割概要
The HR Advisor (also known as Generalist､ Business Partner) implements and advises on core HR processes and initiatives､ as well as supports managers and employees on a day-to-day basis in the Human Resources capacity. We work closely with the business and colleagues within the department to deliver a superior level of service to Global Markets (GM) or Investment Banking (IB) in the areas of responsibility outlined below.
Responsibilities:
● Develop trust relationships and become a business partner with GM or Japan IB senior managers
● Advocate on behalf of the client group to influence HR initiatives and projects
● Liaise with the recruiting teams for talent acquisitions
● Educate managers on compensation - bonus and salaries､ other allowances
● Guide and support managers through the annual title advancement process､ performance management and reviews
● Handle core transactions such as hires､ transfers and resignations
● Handle employee relation issues

Requirements:
● Ability to work accurately and quickly in a fast-paced environment
● Problem-solving ability and critical/ analytical thinking
● Ability to work in teams across regions
● Analytical and data management skills
● Native level fluency in Japanese and proficient in English
● Comfort communicating with different levels of the organization､ including senior management
● Prior HR experience and knowledge
● High standards of compliance and ethics
Other Comments:
The nature of the role requires a great deal of flexibility and consulting mind set for various levels of clients and colleagues in Japan and other countries. The candidate must be able to work on sensitive and complicated HR tasks where strictest confidentiality must be observed.
